Your website acts as a virtual gallery, showcasing your services, brand personality, and all of the beautiful images of your balloon arches and parties! It expands your reach, attracts more clients, and establishes trust between you and a potential customer. In this blog post, I’ll share the benefits of balloon artists having their own website and how it can help you reach a wider audience, book more clients, and establish yourself as a leader in the balloon artist world!
Becoming a Balloon Artist
I just recently learned the term “balloon artist” when I worked on Jordyn’s website from The Posh Balloon. I had seen photos of stunning balloon arches on IG but honestly never put much thought behind it. She opened me up to a fascinating business that seems so perfect for anyone that is creative, fun-loving, and wants to work from home. You could be a balloon artist on the side to make extra money or eventually have it become your full-time job! Here are a few reasons why you might consider starting a balloon business:
Do I Need a Website for My Balloon Business?
A website is essential for a balloon artist for several reasons. Firstly, it establishes a professional online presence, allowing you to showcase your creativity and expertise to potential clients. With a well-designed website, you can present your balloon arch and garland portfolio, share testimonials, display services, and make it easier for clients to book with you. Your website is a powerful marketing tool that sets you apart from the competition and helps establish you as the go-to balloon artist in your area.

How To Book More Clients as a Balloon Artist
To attract more clients as a balloon artist, there are several effective approaches you can take. First and foremost, focus on building a strong online presence. Create a professional website showcasing your portfolio, services, and testimonials. Make it easy for clients to book with you! Utilize social media platforms to regularly share high-quality images and videos of your balloon art, engage with your audience, and leverage relevant hashtags to expand your reach. Additionally, actively seek out collaborations with event planners, party venues, and other professionals in the industry who can refer clients to you. Here are a few other ideas for booking more clients in your balloon business:
Balloon Artist Websites I’ve Built: The Posh Balloon
Jordyn, a balloon artist from the Posh Balloon is a perfect example of how important your brand photos are- could she be any more beautiful!? I absolutely LOVED working on her website. Jordyn came to me after buying two Showit templates from other designers. She felt that one was too busy, too loud, and not true to her as a person. The second one felt too simple for her colorful, fun, and creative balloon business.
What started as a template customization service turned into a major website overhaul for this Showit website. I am so happy with how it turned out. We have multiple photo galleries displaying her beautiful balloon arches and party decor, lots of clear call to actions where customers can fill out an inquiry form to work with her, testimonials, service offerings, and more. Jordyn wanted a fun, clean, and easy-to-navigate website for her clients that would help her clients understand her services so she could spend less time in her inbox answering questions. Event Planner Website I’ve Built: The Chic Bash
Jessica, from The Chic Bash was an absolute DREAM to work with. The Chic Bash is a party planning and styling company in Charlotte, NC. Jessica came to me wanting a new website because hers felt too amateur. She really wanted to elevate her online presence. Jessica wanted a fun, bright, and clean website with lots of pink and I think we achieved just that! Here are some screenshots of her home, services, and about page.
I created a super fun about page for Jessica, that shows off her personality and includes fun little “get to know me” sections. When creating your about page, visitors don’t want to read long paragraphs of text. Make your story skimmable and keep it primarily relevant to your business. Below is a breakdown for her about page to give you an idea of what we can create for you!
Balloon Stylist Website: Chasing Dreams Events
I’m OBSESSED with this custom website I built for Amy, owner of Chasing Dreams Events. Amy wanted a bold, colorful, fun website, while still having a professional and clean vibe to it. Like all of my websites, I built this site on Showit. She had purchased her domain through Wix and wondered if that would cause an issue. Not at all! I’ve had several clients switch from Wix to Showit. We actually kept her domain with Wix and connected it to her new Showit site.
Amy wanted her “inquire here” buttons to link to her Honeybook inquiry form, which details all of her pricing and balloon installation options. She actually used balloon mockups to show sizing of different grab and go options, which really helps her clients visualize the size they are ordering for their event.
Below are some screenshots from this extremely talented balloon artist’s website!
Final Thoughts
Do you have to have a website if you are a balloon artist or party planner? No. But a professionally designed website will help you to book more clients, increase your revenue, elevate your brand, and become the go-to balloon artist in your area. Social media platforms come and go – accounts get suspended without warning, you stop having the reach you once had, the list goes on and on. But with a website, you have a home online that you OWN. The sky is the limit to how creative you can be. Whether you go with Daydream Sites to build your website or someone else, I hope you make the leap to invest in a website for your balloon business. You will reap the rewards for years to come! If you have absolutely any questions for me, please reach out hello@daydreamsites.com or find me on Instagram @daydreamsites. If you’re a balloon artist, party planner, or anyone looking for a happy, colorful website built on Showit, I’m your girl. 😊
