What can I change on the template?

Will your templates work on Squarespace, Shopify, Wordpress or Wix?
Nope! They were designed with balloon artists, event planners, and party pros in mind, but they can be customized for lilterally any business that wants a fun, colorful, professional online presence.
Are these templates only for balloon artists and event planners?
Not at all! A template is just the framework — think of it like a blueprint for a house. The finished product is completely shaped by your branding, photos, fonts, and copy. No two people use a template the same way, and once your personality and brand are in there, it feels nothing like a template at all.
Will my site look like everyone else's if I buy a template?
Outside of the template itself, you'll need a domain name (usually around $10-20/year) and a Showit subscription, which covers your hosting and access to the platform. Showit plans start at $22/month billed annually. That's it!

Can you customize the template for me?
Yes and no! The templates come set up with all the right SEO foundations — clean heading structure, mobile-friendly design, and designated spots for your page titles, meta descriptions, and alt text. But the actual SEO work happens when you fill it in — your city, your services, the words your dream clients are actually typing into Google. A template can't know that you're a balloon artist in Austin who specializes in corporate installs. That part is up to you (or us!).

Showit is a drag and drop builder so you can update text, swap photos, and rearrange things on your own anytime without any coding. If you'd rather hire me to do it for you, I charge on a per project basis!
How do I make updates in the future?
Yes! Every Website in a Week includes the full SEO Accelerator, the same system that has helped our clients reach the top spots on Google. Your site won't just look amazing, it'll be set up to rank on Google, Google Maps, and even ChatGPT from day one.
Does it include SEO?
Just your completed questionnaires and your photos! The questionnaires cover everything from your business details and services to your brand vision and SEO info. You can share photos via Google Drive, Dropbox, or a shared phone folder.
What do I need to provide?
You provide the content through your questionnaire and I take care of the rest! You can write it out in full sentences and I'll plug it in, or just jot down bullet points and I'll shape it into polished, professional copy for you. Either way, the questionnaire guides you through everything so you're never staring at a blank page wondering what to write.
Do you write the words on the website?
Once you’re ready to book, I’ll send your contract and invoice by email. You’ll have 2 days to sign and make your first payment to reserve your project, and payment plans are available.
From there, you’ll choose your Website in a Week start date. Projects always begin on a Monday, and all questionnaires, website content, and photos are due the Friday before your start date. Photos are preferably sent through a shared Google Drive folder so everything stays organized and ready for your website week.
